Right Royal Fun at an Epiphany Party
In Tredegar, we decided not to have a Sunday school Christmas party this year as all the children seemed to have loads to do so, instead, we held an Epiphany party. It was a celebration of Christmas and a chance for our Sunday school children to dress up as Kings and Queens. We had lots of Royal activities like crown making, icing crown shapes on biscuits and making a large picture to display in church that says:
Wise men still seek Him
There were plenty of games all on the king theme too. Pass the parcel that told the Christmas story with each layer taken off, musical crowns instead of chairs and a 'search for the star' game. Our little Kings and Queens had plenty of fun and laughter and all went home with a goody bag and feeling slightly worn out.
