Building bridges between church and community

A Wedding at St Teilo's

photo

In April we were thrilled to welcome two enthusiastic classes from Alway Primary School to St Teilo’s Church. They had been learning all about weddings and naturally wanted to come to Church. The children came, well-rehearsed and ready to see what getting married in the church is really like. It was all part of their school curriculum but a splendid case of church and school working alongside one another. Everyone on the day entered wholeheartedly into the spirit of the occasion, especially the young bride and bridegroom, well supported by their attendants. Lots of photographs were taken to mark a very special “Wedding”.

Hopefully some valuable lessons will have been learned.
