The Diocese has a link agreement with the Diocese of the Highveld in South Africa and has links to the Diocese of Niassa in Mozambique through our friendship with Bishop Mark van Koevering and his wife Helen.
The Mothers Union works worldwide.
We also support the work of mission agencies such as USPG and CMS
Gifts for the Highveld
Many thanks to all parishes and groups who have contributed to the sending of goods to our link diocese of the Highveld. Your generosity has been much appreciated by all.
Sadly, due to great changes in the system, this activity is no longer viable, and no further items will be collected at Griffithstown and despatched as a diocesan link activity.
There is still opportunity to support our friends with funding for the many projects in the Highveld. All monies to be sent through Diocesan Office and, if not designated, will be deemed for general distribution where the Highveld Social Responsibility Group sees greatest need.
