St Luke’s Message for Today
A Lent study led by Bishop Dominic

Week 1: An Introduction to Luke
Week 2: The Parables of Luke
Week 3: Luke the Physician and the Holy Spirit
Week 4: Luke and Prayer
Week 5: The Passion and the Resurrection in Luke
The Bishop's invitation:
St Luke wrote more of the New Testament than any other writer – he wrote the Gospel and the Acts of the Apostles. He was a Gentile and a physician who believed that salvation is a gift for everyone. His Gospel alone contains such wonderful stories as the parable of the prodigal son and the Canticles much loved by Anglicans. Luke was a great story writer who engaged his audience, and I hope that I can engage you as I try to relate those stories to our Christian lives today.
I shall give the talks on Monday to Friday evenings from 14th March to 15th April (that is, each weekday during Lent except for the week with Ash Wednesday and Holy Week). Each week I shall give the same talk every day, so if you cannot make the same day each week you can always try another venue.
Please bring a Bible with you
