PArish Website Workshops
The Parish website scheme is a free facilitiy for parishes, enabling them to have a website without the need for programming ability. All you need is an internet connection and a username and password.

Monmouth Diocese is running workshops for those who want to set up a parish website using this scheme. All workshops take place at St Paul's Church, Commercial Road, Newport. The church has a wireless network and a cafe.
Workshop 1 introduces the scheme. It shows how to set up a website and input the initial material. It points out the pitfalls to avoid and explains how to organise the site and how to deal with pictures.
Workshop 2 explores how to develop a site and how to write well for the web.
