These are exciting and challenging times in the Diocese of St Asaph as we move towards a fresh and creative model of Church that draws all the people of God together into Mission Areas. Across the diocese, church communities are partnering together in Mission to allow themselves to be stronger together and prepared for growth. These newly-grouped parishes are starting to work well together and to find new and creative ways of engaging with the local communities. Vicar: Parishes of Llay, Rossett and Isycoed, near Wrexham

These three distinctive parishes work closely and effectively together in enabling the mission and ministry of the whole people of God. We are seeking an active and encouraging priest who will lead us in developing and achieving our vision and support our increasing involvement in the wider Mission Area.

Our parishes have been through a period of positive change during the last five years, becoming more spiritual and welcoming. We pray that our new vicar will be creative with the use of the liturgy and preaching and continue to develop our links with schools, groups and the wider community.

An opportunity for a wise and energetic priest to work across the whole of Cedewain Mission Area as part of a lively team of lay and licensed colleagues. Based in beautiful mid Wales, we hope you will encourage and challenge us to explore new ways to “be church” in our communities.
