VICAR OF LLANDEILO FAWR WITH MAESTEILO AND TALIARIS
Llandeilo is a market town set in the beautiful Towy Valley. The three-church parish serves the town and neighbouring small villages. The recent refurbishment and adaptation of St Teilo’s and the opening of the Llandeilo Gospels exhibition has enabled St Teilo’s church to extend its ministry to the community and to visitors. The community is bilingual, and the vicar will be able to / willing to learn to officiate in Welsh. The diocese and the parish is looking for a parish priest who is a man or woman “full of faith and the Holy Spirit,” of broad churchmanship and who
· can communicate effectively and relate to people of all ages
· has good pastoral skills with a vision for the church at the heart of community
· is ready to venture in mission with lay and ordained colleagues
· will cooperate in mission with other parishes in the Area Deanery
· will be open to future structural changes to the grouping
· will enjoy the challenge of ministry in a small market town and neighbouring rural communities

PRIEST IN CHARGE OF LLANARTHNE AND LLANDDAROG
THE DIOCESE OF ST DAVIDS
wishes to appoint to the post of
PRIEST IN CHARGE OF LLANARTHNE AND LLANDDAROG
The parish consists of the villages of Llanarthne and Llanddarog situated on either side of the A48 seven miles east of Carmarthen. Both churches are active in their communities, with a VC Church in Wales School at Llanddarog. The National Botanic Garden of Wales lies within the parish. Welsh is widely spoken in both communities and Welsh language services are held, especially in Llanddarog Church. A further small parish is to be added to the group to create a three-church rural benefice.

DIOCESAN SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OFFICER
The Diocese of St Davids has a well established and respected programme of work in social responsibility and is committed through its Gospel vision to engaging with the communities of the three south west Wales counties in addressing their concerns. The Diocese aims to work in partnership at parish and diocesan level with local and regional organisations and agencies. We are looking for a priest who will take a lead role in helping the diocese further develop its involvement in communities and in building relationships with statutory and voluntary agencies in south west Wales. The post will be held jointly with that of Priest in Charge of a small rural group.
