The Rt Revd (John) Wyn Evans presides over and cares for the Diocese of St Davids. He is the 128th Bishop of St Davids and has been in post since December 2008.

Bishop Wyn is one of six diocesan bishops in the Church in Wales and shares this ministry of oversight with his bishop colleagues. Within the Diocese, an area which covers the counties of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire, he shares oversight and pastoral care of clergy and parishes with his senior colleagues. These include the Archdeacons and the Diocesan Secretary.
