training for ministry

Through Exploring Faith many people have discerned God calling them to some form of ministry in their church. St Seiriol Centre is here to help. Having met their denomination’s selection criteria and by taking some written work based on Exploring Faith modules, individuals may proceed to licensed ministry as Anglican Readers, or ordained clergy in the Church in Wales and Methodist Church. Anglicans who are considering a vocation to Reader Ministry or the priesthood should discuss this with their Vicar in the first instance. Members of Bangor University can also take advantage of the Anglican Chaplaincy’s University Vocations Group which draws together University members who are considering whether God is calling them towards professional ministry in an Anglican context.
