The Diocese of
Bangor

library

St Seiriol Centre has its own library, shared with users of the Anglican Chaplaincy to Bangor University.

The Chaplaincy is not the easiest building for the unfamiliar visitor! Please click here for directions to the Chaplaincy and a plan of the site. The Chaplaincy’s public entrance is down the left-hand side of the chapel. Library users should then follow the signs to the dining room.

The Library contains 2000 volumes and is open 9am to 9pm during term time (reduced hours in University vacations). Books may be signed out on an honesty basis using the black A5 borrowing register.

There is a computer in the Chaplaincy library on which you can search for the book you want. You may also download pdfs of the catalogue by:

- Author
[download pdf]
- Book title [download pdf]
- Code [download pdf]

The Library purchasing policy is to buy books which are found on the Exploring Faith bibliographies and on the vocations reading list of the Diocesan Warden of Ordinands. Book donations are welcomed, and should be left in the marked box in the library. Donations will have to be assessed against shelf space and the needs of our readers, such that if donors do not wish unwanted books to be disposed, they should leave contact details for us to get back to you.
