Items of Interest

Partly rebuilt in 1811 and 1888 but retaining earlier parts of the walls. In the nave are three mediaeval gritstone slabs with incised patterns of a cross / trefoils / quatrefoils / rings etc., and there is a mediaeval stoup on the north wall. Also a memorial stone to Morys ap Rhisiart Morys, father of Morrisiaid Môn (the Morris Brothers). There are two mediaeval windows in the chancel. The mediaeval octagonal font shows signs of having been recut. A 17th century plain oak chest is of interest.

A conical shaped stone on a cylindrical base next to the path in the churchyard maybe an ancient boundary marker whilst in the south-west corner is an old stone cross with a circular base.
