Second smallest church on Anglesey.
The present building, replacing the one struck by lightning, was built through the kindness of a member of the Stanley family. This member had adopted the Muslim religion and thus saw that it contained features of this religion. Bishop Humphrey Humphreys (1648-1712) who was Bishop of Bangor, and later Hereford, was married here in December 1690.
