A Victorian building.

Located in an idyllic setting on the banks of the Menai Strait, off the A4080 between Llanfairpwllgwyngyll and Brynsiencyn. It is the only church in Wales, in regular use, which is lit by candles.

It is thought that Edwen built a church on this site in 640AD. The present building dates from 1856 but many gravestones are much older, - one inside the church is dated 1646. It was entirely rebuilt in the mid 19th century - lower part of the west wall contains the old masonry. Many noteworthy memorials and a pair of dog tongs are to be seen inside the church.

Graves of some of the Marquesses of Anglesey are to be found in the churchyard.
