Rebuilt in the Norman period with a 'double aisle,' it has connections with the 'Court of the Princes', - a Royal Court. South and probably parts of the west walls (with reset Romanesque arch) of the nave are 12th century. North aisle and arcade added in the 16th century, but walls and chancel rebuilt in modern times.
