6th century foundations. Cruciform in shape. Silver chalice dated 1500.

Founded in the middle of the 5th century, it was built over the grave of St. Tudwen who had fled from abuse and persecution.

The oldest part of the church is the south transept.

A large stone by the entrance gate is said to have been used by the Druids as a 'Stone of Testimony', on which all village disputes were settled.

The bowl of the silver chalice, dated 1500, is supported on a shaft which bears the figure of Christ.
