This small stone built church measures only 13m x 6.4m overall and has distinct charm and character. The roof trusses used in the church suggests the building to be earlier than the lych gate. Entrance to the churchyard is through a distinctive stone built lych gate which has two inscribed stones, one with the date '1748' and the other 'rebuilt 1848.' Flanking the lych gate are storage bays which may have been used for burial biers.
