Restored in 1879 this small church consists of a continuous nave and chancel. The nave is probably mediaeval with the chancel being added during the late 15th century and houses the original east window. All the other windows date from the restoration in 1879.
Set inside the lych gate is a 7/9th century cross on a stone pillar. The churchyard contains the grave of Dafydd Owen (Dewi Wyn o Eifion) a local poet, one of a number of bards of the area who flourished in the early 19th century.
