Recorded in the 'Norwich Taxation' of 1254 St. Tydecho is a late mediaeval, single-chambered church. The whole building was restored in the 19th century and the interior in 1902. Set in the sill of the east stained glass window, above the altar, is a band of carved vine leaf cornice from the mediaeval rood screen.
