Mediaeval Church.
This church has a 14th century nave, 15th century chancel, a large 16th century south transept and a narrow doorway, probably dating from the 12th century. The present windows were erected during the restoration in 1824 with the exception of the east window which was erected in 1908 in memory of Edward Hughes, Rector from 1872-1905, and a 2-light window in the east of the transept dating from about 1920. The remains of a pre-Reformation window in the north wall are faint but just visible. During the 1842 restoration an old chalice was discovered hidden in the wall, inscribed 'The Cuppe of Llanbedr' and dated 1576. The font is thought to date from the 14th century. The reading desk is dated 1724, and there is a mediaeval chest.
The church possesses a Bishop Parry Welsh Bible of 1620. This was taken away from the church in 1795 when it passed into private ownership, however it was returned to the church in 1965.
