One of the earliest Christian sites in Britain. Founded in the middle of a Roman cemetery. Peblig was Roman-Celt. This is the only church to bear his name. 200yds from the Roman fortress of Segontium with good parking.
A variety of architecture. 15th century tower. 15th century chancel. 15th century roof timbers in north transept. 16th century alabaster tomb to north of high altar. Oldest wall is 13th century.
