Items of Interest
'Huchenfeld Cross of Reconciliation' in stained glass. Very ancient roof beams. Incised stones.
Some claim this church dates from the 5th century; it is the most ancient of the Ardudwy churches and was formerly the Parish Church of Harlech. Its position in the sand-dunes used to cause it to almost disappear whilst it was closed each winter. In recent years there has been a revival of interest in the church which is now used all year round. Several inscribed stones are of archaeological interest and gargoyles on the south wall may depict Llywelyn Fawr.
