17th century carved screen. Roof timbers reputedly from Armada wrecks. Interesting Church records displayed in the Vaughan Chapel.
The plaque over the entrance dates the present church from 1593. The Vaughans of Corsygedol added their private chapel in 1610 beneath which is the family vault. The carved screen, given by William Vaughan, was installed in 1620. The marble and stone monuments in the chapel were reputedly damaged by the Roundhead troops during the Civil War.
