There is a pay and display car park directly opposite the Cathedral. Parking is free after 6pm and all day on Sundays.

Annual Permits

Annual parking permits can be purchased for £60. Please click here to download a permit application form.

Alternatively, forms can be obtained from the Cathedral Office, High Street, St Asaph LL17 0RD.

visits

outside of cathedral You are welcome to visit at any time during the day. We are open from 9 am–6.30 pm Mon-Sat and 7.30 am–4.30 pm on Sunday.  

Please see the Worship and Events page to check that no major event would interfere with your proposed visit.

The Cathedral is accessible to people with disabilities – however if you feel you may need help then please contact us prior to your visit.

    • Bear LEFT (South) onto A525 [Chester Street], following the direction towards "Denbigh".
    • Go straight along Chester Street.
    • The Cathedral is visible on the LEFT of the roundabout junction of Chester Street, High Street and Upper Denbigh Road.
  • From Rhyl
    • Get onto A525 [Vale Road].
    • At roundabout, take the SECOND exit onto A525 [Rhuddlan Road].
    • At next roundabout, take the FIRST exit onto A525.
    • At next roundabout, take the SECOND exit onto A525 [St Asaph Road].
    • At next roundabout, take the SECOND exit onto A525 [The Roe], following the direction towards "Tweedmill".
    • Turn LEFT (East) onto A525 [High Street].
    • The Cathedral is visible on the RIGHT of the roundabout junction of Chester Street, High Street and Upper Denbigh Road.
  • From Conwy
    • Take the A55 towards Chester and keep LEFT onto Ramp.
    • At roundabout, take the THIRD exit onto A525 [The Roe], following the direction towards "Tweedmill".
    • Turn LEFT (East) onto A525 [High Street].
    • The Cathedral is visible on the right of the roundabout junction of Chester Street, High Street and Upper Denbigh Road.
