FRIENDS - Support the Cathedral

outside of cathedralThe Friends were established in 1933 to further the work of the Cathedral, as a House of God and as the Mother Church of the Diocese of St Asaph.

The Friends hold a yearly Festival Service, Lunch and Annual Meeting and regular gatherings in other churches throughout the Diocese.

In support of the Dean and Chapter, the Friends have made significant contributions towards a wide range of projects including:

  • the organ restoration
  • conservation of textiles
  • interior refurishments
  • commissioning of the Dean's cope
  • production of the official guidebook
  • provision of new chairs
