RESOURCES FOR WELCOME TEAMS

Ministering together for the sake of God's kingdom...

Collaborative ministry is not just about how we work together, but about how we relate and how we live as Christians - as signs and "agents" of the kingdom of God.

Extending your Ministry of Welcome

In most parishes "sidemen", "sideswomen", "greeters" or "welcomers" welcome people to worship and make sure they have the books or help they need. Many churches are also open during the week and are sometimes staffed by welcomers.

Many parishes offer their welcomers training so that the welcome is warm and appropriate and people want to come back.

Thes pages give informatin about diocesan offers support and resources to help you extend your ministry of welcome in your parish.
